Analog bandwidth and digital sample rate are different quantities. Passive summing boxes do not sample. Named manufacturers are comparison references; electrical, mechanical, software and calibration equivalence requires review.
ONE BRIDGE. FIVE DIRECTIONS.
Choose your signal interface.
From a single sensor to an independent
multi-channel measurement system.
01 / PLC INTEGRATION
0–10V & 4–20mA PLC Amplifiers
Convert a strain gauge bridge signal into a voltage or current signal your PLC can read. Specify unipolar weighing or bipolar tension and compression measurement.
Analog / DIN rail ↗02 / TEST & MEASUREMENT
High-Speed USB Load Cell Amplifiers
Bring force and torque measurements into a PC for waveform review and test logging. Define the full acquisition chain before selecting the digitizer.
USB / PC acquisition ↗03 / MULTI-CELL WEIGHING
Stainless Steel Load Cell Summing Boxes
Combine matched load cells into one weighing signal, with corner trimming for balanced loading. Choose a passive junction box or request an integrated transmitter.
2 / 4 / 6 / 8 cell summing ↗04 / SIGNAL TRANSMISSION
In-Line Cable Amplifiers & Signal Boosters
Condition the low-level bridge signal close to the sensor, then route an amplified signal through the machine. Select the output around cable length and receiver requirements.
Compact / in-line cable ↗05 / AUTOMATION NETWORKS
Multi-Channel RS485 & EtherCAT Digitizers
Read separate load cell channels for force balance, eccentric load monitoring and automation. Request the exact protocol and timing behavior your controller requires.
Independent channels / fieldbus ↗BRIDGE COMPATIBILITY
4-wire or 6-wire?
Start at the bridge.
Match terminals by function and the sensor datasheet. Wire colors and connector pinouts vary by manufacturer.
A 6-wire connection measures excitation at the bridge through separate sense leads. A 4-wire sensor uses excitation and signal pairs; follow the amplifier manual for local sense links.
Dashed sense lines: 6-wire option. On a 6-wire sensor feeding a 4-wire input, the sensor manual may require sense-to-excitation links of matching polarity. Never infer pin numbers or wire colors.
